DJI Flip Drone (DJI RC2) (GL)

Description

Characteristics Ultra-light and portable design Weighing less than 249 grams, the DJI Flip is extremely lightweight, making it easy to transport and fly without the need for a license in many places. Its structure includes foldable propeller guards, which adds safety when flying, especially for beginners. High-quality camera and stabilisation It has a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor with dual native ISO fusion, which helps capture cleaner images with good dynamic range. The lens has an f/1.7 aperture, allowing for good results even in low light. It can take photos of up to 48 MP, offering great detail in images. In video, it records in 4K at 60 fps with HDR, and also allows slow motion in 4K at 100 fps using the 10-bit D-Log M mode for more professional colour grading. Video transmission and remote control It uses O4 transmission technology, which allows for a very wide link distance (up to ~13 km in ideal conditions according to DJI) and video quality on the controller. The DJI RC 2 remote control has a built-in screen, so you do not need to use a phone to see what the drone is recording, which makes the experience more comfortable and fluid. Autonomy and flight performance The 3110 mAh battery gives up to 31 minutes of flight, which is quite good for its compact size. It has different speed modes: for example, its ascent and descent speed can reach up to 5 m/s (Sport or Normal mode), and slower in Cine mode for smooth shots. It can fly at altitudes of up to 3000 m if conditions allow, which gives plenty of margin for flights in mountains or other terrain. In addition, it resists wind with up to ~10.7 m/s, according to its wind pressure specifications. Safety sensors It is equipped with a forward detection system that uses 3D infrared, which helps avoid collisions with frontal obstacles. It also has downward sensors (visual and infrared) to facilitate a precise and safe landing. Intelligent flight modes The drone offers creative and automated flight modes such as Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Spotlight, Helix and Boomerang (according to DJI description). It incorporates AI (artificial intelligence) subject tracking, which allows the drone to keep the subject framed while you move, ideal for vlogs, sports or dynamic content. Global navigation and connectivity It uses satellite navigation systems such as GPS, Galileo and BeiDou, which improves accuracy during flight. It connects via Wi-Fi (802.11) and Bluetooth 5.0, ensuring good compatibility with the remote control and the DJI Fly app. Safety and ease of use
