2 hiking pole tips

Description

These tips, co-designed with demanding hikers, will never let you down and will make you forget the repeated impacts of the ground. The history of their development... Fully designed and validated with the collaboration for 1 year of 14 demanding users, a wise mix of hiking customers and trekking ambassadors. From the preparation of the specifications to the validation tests of the prototypes, passing through the choice of colour. Thanks to Serge, Evelyne, Olivier, Thomas, Perrine and everyone else! How have we achieved such durability? Mainly through the choice of a rubber formulation highly resistant to abrasion and deformation. Our laboratory tests show wear 3 times less than the previous model (average abrasion at room temperature and hot). To maximise durability, we have also opted for thick studs. Thus, the tip is changed less frequently. Our technical choices… In addition to its resistance, the rubber material of this tip offers a superior grip coefficient on hard floors (asphalt, stones, trees). We have also specifically designed V-shaped studs, based on our experience in shoe soles, to provide good grip on soft terrain (earth, mud). To install this tip on Quechua and Forclaz poles Insert it with force, in this way, the soft material deforms to adapt to the tip. It is important to hit 2 or 3 times hard on the ground to insert it thoroughly. The adhesion to the tip of the pole has been determined so that the tip is not easily lost when walking. This is maximum on a clean tip, but decreases if there is dust or moisture. To remove it, you have to twist it while pulling it. This will make it much easier to take out. Cushioning, grip and resistance: these tips will transform the tips of your poles and make you walk more comfortably on all types of hard surfaces (asphalt, stones, roots...). Cushioning Flexible material and rounded shape to attenuate noise and blows on hard ground. Grip 100% rubber material and studs that favour grip and adhesion. Resistance Designed to last. Highly abrasion and puncture resistant rubber. Compatibility Fits Quechua and Forclaz hiking poles. Ease of use Red to be seen well in case of loss. The studs indicate wear. Content protection Prevents the tip of the pole from injuring or spoiling things. Weight 12 g/unidad. These tips, co-designed with demanding hikers, will never let you down and will make you forget the repeated impacts of the ground.
