Our Olaian team has designed this girl's swimsuit for the beginner surfer in the learning phase. Beginner surfer Your daughter is starting to surf in very small waves. We have designed swimsuits adapted to the morphology of girl surfers to offer good support in the waves. Design The Hanalei swimsuit has a sporty look. Its crossed back allows the shoulders to be freed and improves the surfer's freedom of movement. Its cut has also been designed to avoid most friction against the board and wax. Wave support test We design swimsuits that guarantee support in the waves. To evaluate them, we use a group of at least 12 surfers with different builds, who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design centre in Hendaye (France). This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when they are carried by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimsuits in real conditions. Girl's swimsuit sizes At Decathlon, we design swimsuits for young surfers taking into account their growth; for this reason, we systematically associate a height with the size, because age is not enough to guarantee the correct size. Indeed, two 10-year-old girls can have totally different heights, measurements, weights and physiques. We also recommend that you try on the swimsuit in the fitting room whenever possible. The elastane contained in some components that we use in the design of our swimsuits becomes more flexible and gives way in the water. Do you want to change your swimsuit?
