BICYCLE COMPATIBILITY The pedal thread pitch is the 9/16" English standard, compatible with all adult mountain, trekking, road and urban bicycles on the market. Assembly To assemble the pedals, you will need a 6 mm hex key. Attention, you must respect the screwing direction of each pedal: clockwise on the right side and counter-clockwise on the left side. DIMENSIONS Platform dimensions: Length: 105 mm. Width: 105 mm Thickness (with moulded spikes): 27 mm USAGE ADVICE You should avoid pedalling on the heel or the arch of the foot, as this often causes pain and fatigue over time. For good comfort and good pedalling efficiency, the foot should be positioned so that the small bump under the metatarsus is above the pedal axle. SAFETY Made of resin, the MTB 700 flat pedals limit the risk of injury to the shins and calves in the event that the pedal kicks back accidentally. MAINTENANCE The MTB 700 flat pedals have been designed to last. The chromoly steel axle, with CNC machining, is heat-treated. The oil seals are of high quality for great durability. The double-sealed bearings need little maintenance.
