Indicaciones terapéuticas: Anticonceptivo de emergencia dentro de las 72 h siguientes a haber mantenido relaciones sexuales sin protección o al fallo de un método anticonceptivo. Modo de administración: Vía oral. Administrar preferiblemente dentro de las primeras 12 horas y no más tarde de las primeras 72 horas, después de haber mantenido relaciones sexuales desprotegidas. Mecanismo de acción: Evita ovulación y fertilización si la relación sexual ha tenido lugar en la fase preovulatoria (posibilidad de fertilización más elevada). Contraindicaciones: • Hipersensibilidad a levonorgestrel. • Reacciones adversas • Sangrado no relacionado con menstruación, retraso en la menstruación de más de 7 días, hemorragia irregular y manchado, dolor uterino; mareos, cefalea; dolor epigástrico, náuseas, diarrea, vómitos; fatiga, aumento de la sensibilidad mamaria; cansancio.
