Our camping designers have conceived this Arpenaz 20° sleeping bag for sleeping comfortably while camping at temperatures close to 20 °C. What is the usage temperature? We indicate on all our sleeping bags the "ideal temperatures" tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to the European standard ISO 23537-1 of 21/01/2017. The comfort temperature is the lower limit of the comfort temperature that allows a person in a lying position to be globally in thermal equilibrium and not feel cold or hot (determined for a "standard" woman and under normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag based on this temperature. What do we call the comfort limit temperature? The ideal limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person in a curled-up position in their sleeping bag is generally in thermal equilibrium and is neither cold nor hot (determined for a man and under normal conditions of use). What you need to know about temperatures A sleeping bag does not generate heat, but it retains the heat produced by the body.
