To ensure a good seal when closing, you must feel the slider click into place after passing a resistance point. Adjustable tube and bite valve for greater comfort. You can cut the hydration bladder tube to adapt it to the length that suits you best. To do this, remove the bite valve, place the tube in hot water to soften it, cut it to the appropriate length, and replace the bite valve. The bite valve has an on/off closure (180º rotation) to prevent leaks during transport. While riding, it does not drip, even in the open position. And for a good flow when drinking, pinch the bite valve with your mouth and suck! Composition, dimensions and maintenance The components of the hydration bladder are guaranteed BPA-free (Bisphenol A), in accordance with current French regulations. Its dimensions are 35.5 x 17 cm, with a 100 cm tube. To improve the lifespan of the hydration bladder, we recommend that you do not fold it, do not fill it with hot liquids, and do not hold it upside down or by the tube ;) Why and how to remove air from the hydration bladder? To avoid hearing the sound of water sloshing in the bag during your ride, and also to improve the flow of water inside the tube, we recommend removing the air from the bladder beforehand. You just need to turn the hydration bladder upside down after filling it, direct the air bubbles towards the tube inlet, and then suck them out. And that's it: you enjoy the silence and will have a good water flow while pedalling! How to clean the hydration bladder properly? To avoid a plastic taste when drinking, we recommend that you rinse the hydration bladder 3 times before the first use. It is advisable to clean it after each ride using the cleaning kit (code 5935596). After cleaning, dry the hydration bladder well by leaving it open upside down. If the plastic taste persists, you can put the dry hydration bladder in the fridge or freezer overnight. Product tested, approved and PRODUCED IN FRANCE! To guarantee the quality of the 2L hydration bladder, we have subjected it to a tough test in our internal laboratory. In addition to the absence of defects in the burst/overpressure test, we were able to record an improvement in puncture resistance of more than 74%. THE PRODUCTION OF THE BLADDER IN FRANCE ensures us very good control of manufacturing quality (in terms of watertightness and resistance over time).
